Why Do Android Devices Have FRP, and How Does VNROM Bypass It?
FRP is a protection or security feature on Android gadgets. This feature keeps your devices safe from unauthorised access. Sometimes Android devices get stolen and thieves try to reset those devices and get access. Since users protect their devices with strong passwords or pattern codes thieves cannot access those devices without resetting them.
Whenever someone resets an Android device, it requires Google Account Verification to give access. Basically this process is Factory Reset Protection or FRP. This feature protects not only your phone but also potentially recoverable data on it.
Why Do Android Devices Require FRP?
Majorly, there are three main reasons why this security feature is built into Android devices. It is particularly added to Android smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, and Android Fire TV. So here I will try to explain those reasons.
Protection of Stolen Android Phones
In case, someone steals your phone they probably go for resetting it since they cannot access it. Because people use passwords to lock their phones and without resetting them it is not possible to access them. So after resetting the phone, FRP asks for Google Account Verification which again locks the phone completely since the thieve doesn't know the Google account credentials of a real user.
Protect from Unauthorized Resets
This feature also works when you do a Factory Reset of your phone. It requires Google Account Verification to reset the phone. Therefore, this security feature is designed to stop unauthorized users from erasing data from your phone.
Original Owner Access
The last reason for designing this feature is to allow access to the phone to its original user only. So he can keep his/her data safe and protect their privacy.
How Does VNROM Bypass FRP?
The purpose of the VNROM Bypass App is to bypass this FRP in case you forget your Google Credentials. It allows users to add a new Google Account or gives users a Skip option for Google Account Verification.
Each Device has a specific trick to access the Settings and App Management from where they can disable the Play Services. Further, they can access the File Manager app install the VNROM Bypass APK file and restart their phone to get the Add or Skip option for the GAV option.
